Tank inventory calculation

How I can calculate tank inventory for straight run gas oil, light Coker gas oil and Coker naphtha for DHT unit.
Please can you give me example in excel sheet?

What's wrong with cross sectional area x height of the liquid??

What type of tank ( I assumed vertical cylindrical), but others may have correctly used horizontal dished end or flat end vessels.

Depends on what you want the tank inventory for. A good start would be reading API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards. It will show you how to find that cross-sectional area and set up a calibrated reference point for the height. It also has details of the accepted software for calculating the inventory.
