We have ~10 tanks to be coated with Devchem 253 as chemical resistant lining. Vendor has proposed alternate Devchem 100 as a replacement to save time. I know for definite that Devchem 253 works but not sure of Devchem 100. Is there anyone who has used in the past this product as replacement to Devchem 253? Your input is much appreciated.

I would suggest you compare the chemical compatiblity charts of the two different coatings with the materials you store in the tanks. Additionally, compare the properties of the coatings.

The vendor wants to do what's easiest for him to install, but may not be sufficient for your use.
