Can anyone provide me some information about tapered steel piles. I'm mostly looking for manufacturers but any other info will also be helpful.
I know that traditionally tapered piles have been timber because of the natural taper but I am working with a structural engineer and he is showing loads that are too high for timber but might work with steel. However, we are in very weak soils and the tapered shape adds a lot to the geotechnical capacity.
Thank you!
