Has anyone experienced a problem running the task scheduler and it changing the SolidWorks System Settings?

Turning Read Only access off..
Changing the Background Color...
Changing External References...

This is just some of the items I have experienced.

Drhinehart,
You can test your theory by turning your task scheduler off for a week.

I have had many people tell me they have or are having problems running TS. Yours maybe some of the same things others have seen. Have you Contacted your VAR with these issues?

Actually I had someone call me and tell me that he is having problems with his Task Scheduler ever since he upgraded to 2005 SP0.0 as well as SP0.1. He said that it doesnt add anything to the spool if he tries to print folder from Task Scheduler and also if he tries to see future date tasks in Task Scheduler, he gets Runtime Error and his TS crashes. Any thoughts on that ????

Good point Scott!!

I will check with this guy if the sboengine is running or not, cuz that very well could be the reason. Thanks a lot

OK now his SWBOEngine is running just fine, guess he would have to re-install. The mistake he made was that he upgraded to 2005 from 2004 rather than a clean new install. I always suggest that, but its a pain to have to do a re-install now that it isnt working. Anyways if any more thoughts on this ... please let me know !
