Hi everyone, just thought I would introduce myself. I’m Dave and I’ve worked as a service engineer manager for over 30 years, maintaining air compressor equipment and nitrogen generators. These forums can be a great help troubleshooting unique problems so thought I would join to learn, share knowledge and meet other likeminded folk.

Looking forward to hearing about your backgrounds!!!

Hi Dave,

Hi everyone!

I am Richard. I am an industrial/mechanical engineer. I have designed, performed quality, worked a little on the manufacturing floor, helped companies with their documentations, etc. And, I agree with Dave, these forums are good to share expertise and experiences.

I have been on and off the forum through the years, but found it to be more helpful than not.

So, welcome, Dave, and, hope people can help you with any issues you may have.

Hi my name is Jessica Herron. I am from California and I am software engineer. Currently I am working with Manufacturing Company. And I am manager here.

YO

I am a VERY new engineer (day 50 today actually) with no real experience in engineering per se, but lots of varied experience in design, manufacturing, management, and a couple few kinds of software, mostly PSM and Mesh Modeling, again, in a couple different capacities (20 years with BFA in Industrial Design). Also a couple different factory jobs of varying quality, and I was an auto mechanic in the third party market for a couple years. I am well aware of the opportunity a job like this affords me and I'm very, very thankful for it, even if its a pretty ambitious move for me.

But I have a really cool boss that definitely wants to train me. And the company is good so I hope I can make a go at it. I'm getting to old to bounce around companies much less entire industries anymore so im crossing my fingers!

Thanks in advance for all of the great information boys and girls!
