greetings
I want to build my own Temp matched curing set up. the Concrete will be on site remote from the lab so would need to use cell phones as the link. Anybody built one or got any ideas. my knowledge of electronics is a bit woeful.
Thanks

are you wanting a complete data collection and control system? (i.e. temperature readouts throughout the day, max/min temps, and ability to control up/down as needed with the touch of a button)

are you wanting a portable curing facility or just for initial curing?

question of my own for you: assuming that you're dealing with normal sized jobs where there's not 40000 sets of cylinders, why would you want to go to such troubles? if you really want to know what's going on, set up a box and stick a thermometer and max/min thermometer in there. i'm sure you could even find a digital thermometer that will record the minute by minute activity so that you could download later each time you pick up the cylinders.

I want to record the temp in large concrete section and send this temp to my curing bath controller so that I can make the temp in the bath. this is an on going process so it needs to be automated as nobody will be on site at 2 am or on sundays for example. this probably involves a data logger talking to cell phone talking via sms text message to another cell phone talking to the controller. does this make sense. One can buy the TMC bath and recorder from people like Controls but they sell the easy bit to make.

thanks
