I am in the HVAC service industry, and need help on where to find information. Years ago, I was obtaining info I think, from some Federal organization on temperature bins. It was a plotted history on hourly outdoor recorded temperatures for a specific area that you selected. It told you in any given month, how many hours at various temperatures were measured.

I need this info to calculate savings on a wrap around recovery system (coils/pump/glycol) on a 100% OA air handler and matching exhaust fan. I need the temp bins to accurately calculate the savings.

I would appreciate any help you can provide, on where to obtain this information. Thanks, Steve R

You can get the tmy2data from NREL (236 US. cities). The data can be converted into an excel spread sheet relatively easy.
