Hello, we have a new single-screw melt extruder that we bought a little while back. I have to enter all of the data about the various gauges into a database: Model #, Serial #, Manufacturer's range and tolerances, etc.
I've seen this on some temperature controllers, where the accuracy is listed as something like:
±0.2% of reading ±1 LSD.
How is this interpreted? If I measure, say, 300°C, does that mean
300*0.002 = 0.6
300±0.6
and then additionally ±1, so
300±1.6?
