Temperature Gradient

Hello everyone,
I have a problem to share with you guys related to thermal analysis. I want to set vertical temperature gradient in a solid straight bar (for example from 20 C to 25 C) .
I am looking for an equation by adding that i will get the temperature gradient in a bar from bottom to top as an initial condition of the bar. If somebody please can help me with this, would be very grateful. If the question is not clear let me know i will write it in some other to explain it.

I forgot to mention that I am using Solidworks Thermal analysis to achieve this.

Assuming steady state, the profile like IRstuff mentioned will be a straight line from one end temperature to the other end temperature.

Are you assuming insulated sides, ie heat transfer only axially not radially?
