Hi there,
I am looking at a lifting operation for an antenna onto a tower. We will be lifting a 400 lb antenna onto a 410ft tower. If the runner anchor is at 20 degree angle out from tower (this is approximation), what is the expected highest tension in line 6. My lifting gear is good for 5000lb but i see potential for tension in sling 3 to apply sufficient force at block 4 that tension in line 6 is at risk. This should be dependent on the initial tension in 6 and its elasticity? Is there anyway to address this withou modelling software. I really need an upper limit value to be safe. Thanks
