I have a small 1-story "box" building with a steel K-joist roof bearing on LG metal stud walls.

When the bar joist are parallel to the metal stud wall, are you supposed to terminate the joist bridging at the metal stud wall in a similar manner to how you would terminate it at a CMU block wall? My first K-joist is 6" off of the metal stud wall. Can I just terminate the bridging at the first K-joist?

6" !? Yikes. I hope the span is short. Take a look at the deck deflection from the mid-span of that first joist to the wall.

But yes, you terminate it at the wall. You'd likely need to put a stud or two in line to make the connection.
