We are trying to find a testing facility that will be big enough to accomodate our test piece which is approx. 2m x 2m x 9m so that we can submerge it in water. we are in ontario canada and would like to stay as close as we can but would consider going anywhere if the right place came up. Basically what we are after is a big 'tank'. if anyone has any ideas it would be a HUGE help to us as we have exhausted our resources. thanks

as it so happens we have actually had swimming pool contractors in to have a look at building us a 'pool' but you can bet your bottom dollar that we'll begin testing in the middle of winter at 20 below.
good point about the RN - i'll look it to it :0)

Sorry for the misnomer.

You can heat the pool ;-) and then claim some credit for employee fitness equipment?

McDonnell Douglas built a million gallon pool for testing a torpedo back in the 70's. But, its only secondary purpose was as a fire-fighting reservoir, which might lower your insurance rates.
