Hello,

I may be hallucinating here, but I am looking for a button/tool that I thought was in SW when I was using 2004 a year ago. It "was" similar to the paintbrush button in Excel or Word. Function was to highlight the text/cell that has the desired format, click button and then drag over what you wanted to have the same format. By format I mean Font style/size/etc.

Am I dreaming or what? It would be handy when doing special notes in a drawing that doesn't fit into our predefs on our templates. Could have sworn it was there, but maybe I am thinking ACAD.

TIA,

Gonzo

Did you ever use Mechanical Desktop? It had that function. You could also "paint" your dimensions, and it would copy the # of decimal places, fraction denominator, and even notes such as "O.D.", "TYP", etc.

You should check out "favorites" for text and dimensions. It's similar to what you're looking for.

Thanks guys, had trouble seeing the monitor through all the smoke :)

I don't have ACAD, so couldn't check. Will look into the "favorites" thing tho.

Happy Friday by the way...
