Text Extrude Issue

I'm having a random text extrusion issue in this model. I want to extrude the vessel labels offset from the vessel face. No problems generally, but take a look at the v-002 10mill configuration. Suddenly SW has forgotten how to perform the function. Bug? What gives?

Worked fine for me with SW2011-SP4EV.

I must be. I was actually doing it differently. In the extrude dialog box I was selecting the surface in the "From" box, not the "Direction 1" box. Still doesn't answer why it just stopped working.
