Text on solids - Is there an easier way?

Hi, I know that if you wanted to put text onto /into your model, you had to type it in drafting, copy and paste into a sketch and then pad or pocket. In UG it is possible to go and put text straight onto your solid. Is this possible in Catia yet? Or can one somehow type text inside a scetch?

there is a software package called Type3 that can emboss/engrave text and other patterns directly in CATIA.
