I use the next code to add a tolerance to dimensions with “text override”

<>±\S1/4;"

The <> is getting the original dimension which is ¼ inch. (stacked format)
And the next part of the code gives me the ± tolerance with a stacked format also.

Now I have to do the same but my tolerances are different each other, one is -1/4” and the other is -1/8”.

I could use the next formula

<>\H0.6x;\S+0.25"^-0.125"

But this formula gives me the tolerances in decimals.

How can I do this but with the tolerances in fractions stacked?

Hi urielcdc

try: <>+\S1/4;-\S1/8;

Should get you what you need.

Thanks TCARPENTER1 but what I was trying to do is like in my example

<>\H0.6x;\S+0.25"^-0.125"

but instead of decimals, have fractions, but keep the tolerances positive over the negative.

With your formula the positive is next to the negative.

What i want to do is something like this:
<>\H0.6x;\S+¼"^-½"

But I cannot do that for fractions that are not included in as a caracter in the fonts(1/8 for example).

urielcdc,

I think you have to use ACAD Mechanical ose...
Or you can make an own Dimstyle, but that's without fraction stroke too.
