The manufacterer of the stripper ov

The manufacterer of the stripper overhead accumulator has choosen the material of shell and head astm a- 387 gr22 cladding with monel although a-387 is good at elevated pressure and temperature . I don't know what the reason of using cladding for monel.

Monel would prevent corrosion due to condensation, which is basically acidic corrosion.

Monel cladding is for corrosion purposes, but in what service will be aplicated the stripper overhead vessel?
