There are 2 gas compression plant GCP-A & GCP-B, each consisting of 3 nos. of reciprocating gas compressors. The rated discharge head of compressors at GCP-A is more than that of GCP-B. Discharge of both GCPs is connected to common outlet. What will be the final discharge pressure received at common header? How will the flow rate of each GCP matter?

Discharge pressure will be dependant on the downstream conditions and frictional losses.

Flow rate will be whatever the flow rate of the compressors are.

Pressure will be irrelevant until it exceeds the max pressure of the B compressors.

Some actual numbers would help....
