So we've started to use another building of ours that we didn't previously use and need to insulate it. We were looking at getting it spray foamed, but we have a flame spray/thermal spray thermoplastic system already so I've been told to look into it [morning].

What I'm looking at is TPU powder with azodicarbonamide as the foaming agent and montmorillonite clay as the fire retardant since any standard FR material will decompose. Does this even sound like it's worth a try? I'm not very confident that the PU will even foam once sprayed like this and if it does it's going to take a lot of work to get it right [sadeyes].

It does not make any sense to consider what you are suggesting. There are plenty of contractors that can apply spray-on polyisocyanurate insulation and guarantee the results.
