THE bible of thermal fluid heaters is written in german, but there is an english version with less pages available.

Heat transfer with organic media by Walter Wagner.

I don´t have the ISBN on hand, but come back to the forum if you have difficulties to find the title in a bookstore.

I too have been attempting to find data on design of these heaters. I have a website at
