Hello All,
Does anyone have any experience modeling thermoelectric cooler (TEC) devices and trying to predict performance? I've been using a lumped-parameter thermal analyzer (i.e., SINDA) to model these devices for a refrigerator. The problem is that I have to iterate between my SINDA refrigerator model and an Excel spreadsheet model of the TECs. Besides being tedious, I don't seem to be able to match test data at more than one point at a time. (There seems to be some sort of nonlinear phenomenon going on that can't be captured by this analysis approach. Or else there's something seriously wrong with the thermal model.) If anyone has a thermal model of something similar or can provide any helpful hints/info, I'd really appreciate it. I'm at wit's end. Thanks.
