Hello,
I'm currently working on a inspection project with a water-tube steam boiler running on garbage as fuel. Because the boiler is burning garbage, the environment is highly corrosive. This is why, once a year we do inspections and measure the carbon steel water-tubes' thickness. As the corrosive environment gets worse the cooler the smoke gets, the tubes in the upper sections have had to be covered with Inconel to protect the carbon tubes. So this year I will have to do measures of the Inconel we welded on the outside of this tubes, so that we constantly know the state of the boiler. Does anyone know any good equipment for this task? It will need to be a instrument with the ability to log measures and transfer them to my laptop for process.
Hope someone can be of any help.
Thanks in advance!
