This isn't an "AutoCAD" question, but ...
I've misplaced a lead-sheet with rule of thumb guidelines for column bracing as well as lifting lug design, that I've used for years. I've apparently recently misplaced that design folder. I'm a Mechanical/Structural CAD designer, and the boss has come to me to look over some modifications he wants made to a skid frame. I readily accepted this assignment, but now need to refer to those guide sheets. Does anyone have a guide sheet on either or both topics they'd be willing to share?
Thanks-

I think that lifting lugs and column bracing should be designed by an person with the engineering training to do the basic calculations. It could be dangerous to design them using tabulated information and rules of thumb.

Anything can be dangerous if not done correctly.

This is for layout purposes only. I work closely with a number of well qualified Engineers, for just the purpose you mentioned.

Anyone else have a thought?
