I have around 22 yrs of different CAD experience under my belt and I am capable of designing fairly complex machinery in SW, but THREADS showings are complete puzzle to me.

Sometime they show up on dwgs, sometime they don't. I read HELP on SW, tried this, tried that.

Right now I have a 2 part assy dwg. The threads are made on solid assy and on assy they do show up.

But they do NOT show up on the dwg.

What am I doing wrong ????

The threads automatically show up in part drawings but not assembly drawings.

If you want to see them in the assembly drawing, there is an option for them in Insert, Model Items.

Are you talking about cosmetic threads (dotted circle at root or crest) or textures on surfaces?

Textures will not show up on drawings ... yet.
Cosmetic circles will, if View > Annotations is selected.

[cheers] & all the best.
