Tied-beam for eccentric pile footing

In case of eccentric pile footing and I design tied-beam to correct them. Can I depress tied-beam into footing body(Top level of beam as top of footing).

Yes, I think that this shouldn't create any problem and in fact think to have done it a number of times to correct the effect of misplaced piles.

In any case put the lower reinforcement of the pilecap the lower.
