Tighten up welding symbols

I searched and can not find the setting location to control the spacing in welding symbols to tighten up the vertical space between the symbol and the "grind flat" modifiers. The default spacing is very large. Does anyone know where to adjust this. See attached image for example.

Sorry I forgot to mention that. I'm running 6.0.5.3 on windows xp.

It appears that starting with NX 7.5, the spacing between the elements as shown in your sample image, have been reduced by about half.
