I have been tasked with evaluating the benefits of using tin as a pearlite stabilizer. My boss told me that when the foundry had tried tin before they experienced recovery issues. He said it had something to do with the tundish ladle. I have been looking for an article that might explain what the problem was and how to fix it, but I have had no luck. If anyone knows what the problem might have been or can point me toward a good source, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
