Whether the welded joint has a ductile - brittle transition temperature or not. The transformation temperature is usually considered to be for the steel itself, however there is literature on testing the transformation temperature of welded joints, so do welded joints also have a transformation temperature?
Thank you

All BCC metals will have a DBT.
The question is if it is in a range of concern to you.
With welds you need to consider the weld metal itself (different composition and thermomechanical history) as well as the HAZ.
There is a lot of research in this subject.
