Any ideas for determining the finest tip radius possible for making the sharpest blades and maintaining durability of the edge? I need to compare blade materials and corresponding sharpness. (which seems to be most strongly correlated to tip radius, no?)

I'm assuming thickness of the blade blank, material grain size, and toughness of the material are used for this calculation?

What material are the blades cutting? And what material is the blade made of? And what kind of blade is it(IE circular, drag saw, toolbit, etc)?

How sharpness of any radius has an absolute limit base on the maximum diameter of crystal of the base material.

when looking at the sharpness of the edge the sharper it is the less resistance there will be fracture etc.
