Tipps Exporting Big Assemblies in Step File

Dear all,

I have to export big assemblies in Step File and I would like to ask you if the following settings are recommendable or not.
(see attached file)

My idea is to use Batch Magament in CATIA saving in a input Folder the big assemblies and exporting each big assembly in one Step File.

I am not sure if this will be successful, because maybe each assy has about 1GB.
Should I save each assembly in one Step File or use the option External references to STEP.

Iso 2014 has good quality for parts designed in Automotive Industry?

Hi,
You can go for the Batch mode.But not sure about "external references" option.i do not know much about its application as i have never used it.You can use one step file also and you need to select all the Products and parts for the Input files options i believe.Hope it helps.All the Best.
