TIR tolerance of conveyor roll

Hello all,
Here is your diagram. A-----------B A is a bearing journal with a 2.00" dia. and a 2" length. This A journal has a TIR tolerance of .005 back to the B bearing journal also a 2.00" dia.2.00" length journal. The broken line between A & B is a 6" dia. roller. The roller length between A & B is 120". The tolerance of A(journal) & B(journal to the broken lines(roller)is .005. If A and B have .005 TIR each and have opposite highs, what would be the TIR of A back to B. Consider the roller as having a TIR of "0". Also, When A and B journals are assembled to housings, won't any TIR in the journals shift to the roller?

Conveyor rolls are nearly always supported by really cheap ball bearings that are loose enough to self-align.

6" pulley x 120" long sounds kind of suspicious, depending on conveyor length. Is this a head pulley, in addition? Are you experiencing belt tracking problems?

I agree with self-aligning bearings.
