How do you set up sheet formats with title blocks. What I want to do is two things. Like starting from scratch except I already have an existing title block I want to use with company name and all that.
1. I need to set up the drawings with title blocks on them, a,b,c, and d size.
2. If needed I want to be able to change sheet sizes and the new sheet size has its own title block. So if I start a b-size drawing and decide half way thru detailing that it would fit better on a c-size I can easily change sizes and title blocks.

Thanks!

We took one of the "Frame & Title Block" CATScripts and revised it to suit, I.E.; our company name, title block fields, removed boarder numbers, etc., then saved as different name.

File - New - Drawiwng (select sheet size)
Edit - Sheet BackGround - Frame & Title Block

This works quite well, as there are several automatic functions built into the script, I.E.; size to sheet, resize to changed sheet, revision blocks, etc.
NOTE: I am not a CATScript (VBasic) expert. I just printed out the CATScript, found the pertinent sections, and revised them.

Is this catscript one that you created from scratch or is it contained somewhere inside of catia? If it is inside catia where can I find it?

We used the one(s) that came with CATIA (as catiajim noted).

In an open drawing:
Tools - Macro - Macros
This will show the location of the files and the 3 samples from CATIA. You can also run the edit & save as a new file process.

catiajim:
I couldn't find a specific file for d-load, and I don't have site access anyway. Could the file be placed somewhere we could get to?
