I had an assembly in Solid Edge, and I needed to hide the occurence properties of one of the parts. When I did so, I needed to re-input the assembly into the draft file, so that I could update the part numbers (including the non-graphic part that was in the assembly). When I deleted the assembly, and re-input the assembly, the title and drawing number were not shown - they were just empty boxes. Suggestions?

Hi,

does your draft contain more than one input file on more than
one sheet? If so do all sheets have the title filled in? If
this is not the case then the index now refers to a file
that does not have the title filled in. Deleting all views of
a file and reinserting them will reset the internal index.
Scenario:
The asm is the first file placed index = 1
Background of that sheet %{Title|R1}
on a second sheet a .par is placed index = 2
Background of that sheet %{Title|R2}
.par has no title filled in

Now the assembly's views are deleted and reinserted
the indices will be renumbered thus we have now:

The asm is now the 2nd file placed index = 2
Background of that sheet still %{Title|R1}
the second sheet still holds the par but now the index = 1
Background of that sheet still %{Title|R2}

If your environment does reflect this than after deleting and
reinserting the asm the second sheet should show the asm's title
and the asm will show nothing. Have a look at the assigned
backgroung sheets and check the properties of the title/doc
