Caution Subtle Curve Ahead ;-)

(or Behind)

FYI... I have heard the scuttlebutt here in Texas that the date for a required MSE along with the BSCE will be 2012... I think all states will be eventually going to this...

DarthSoilsGuy,
I was refering to Robert Heinlein's novel,"Stranger in a Strange Land". (fiction which made up Tennessee as the state that passed a law equating pi to 3.0)

My husband is currently taking physics at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and their first physics lab was to claculate pi by wrapping a piece of string around a pipe five times. Due to the extra length in the coil, they came out at about 3.3. So while Heinlein was being satirical, he wasn't far off the mark. My hubby is a Heinlein freak, I wonder if he thought of the seminal novel while doing the lab.

Freeze. This is the joke police. Step Away.. from the keyboard and noone will get hurt.

Headquarters, I'm going to need some backup down here.
