Today's Annoyance with V8

What's up with "associating" elements or groups of elements?

Man, I HATE that the neat assembly I just copied and pasted has had its line styles automatically changed to an ugly, thick dashed. The "drop" tool doesn't seem to do anything. Yet another time-waster: gotta search for what to turn off for good.

Nothing is locked and yet I can't even change line styles after dropping everything! This idiotic dashed representation overrides everything possible and it even prints these stupid dashed lines!

Nothing seems to help, so it's time to delete the grouped assembly and try something else. Only an hour wasted...

Time to ask for our money back!

You can turn the association feature off if you do not want to see the dashed lines. If that is what you are looking for let me know. I will have to look for the setting at work.
