Sirs,
Good evening permission to post
May i know if there is a chart
for Tolerance in Vessel Tank
Fabrication. Also if none May
i know the tolerance of a dished
Bottom head plate 6mmt with a
height of 294 mm and what is the
curvature tolerance circumference
is 10711.
Thanks in advance for any one
who could provide me the answer

Best regards
Respectfully yours Felix

What’s your Code of Construction? Are there external pressure conditions that form the design cases?

Good evening Sir
I am new in This field, I am using ASME VIII, DIV 1 UG-81
Is 18 the right answer?
Thanks?

Sirs/Team,
Is anybody familiar with UT-TG/LC-1651-012-
Thanks

Q: May i know if there is a chart for Tolerance in Vessel Tank Fabrication.
A: In ASME Sec VIII Div 1 there is no such chart.
Q: May i know the tolerance of a dished Bottom head plate 6mmt with a height of 294 mm and what is the curvature tolerance circumference is 10711. I am using ASME VIII, DIV 1 UG-81.
A: UG 81 is for measuring over-crowning (Maximum 1.25% of diameter) and under-crowning (maximum allowed under-crowning 0.625% of the diameter.
Curvature tolerance is specified in UG 80, but this tolerance is applied only when the component is subjected to external pressure. In this case, one verifies the curvature using a template. The length of the template is crucial to verify compliance.
Q: Is 18 the right answer?
A: 18 is not the correct value either as per UG 80 or UG 81, sorry.
