FootModel

Hi! I'm quite new using Abaqus and I'm trying to do a model of a foot and to apply different forces to understand his behaviour. I got a slice from a MRI and then I imported it in abaqus. I use the Ogden formulation to describe soft tissue. I also imported a wire structure for the bone and I create a rectangle to simulate the floor. When I submit the model I always have the same error:

error in job 123: Too many attempts made for this increment
Job 123: Abaqus/Standard aborted due to errors.
Job 123 aborted due to errors.

What can I do to solve this? I look at the msg file and I found this problem:

CONTACT PAIR (ASSEMBLY_HEELPAD-1_PLANTARSURFACE,ASSEMBLY_FLOOR-1_TOPSURF)
NODE HEELPAD-1.406 IS OVERCLOSED BY 141.180 WHICH IS TOO SEVERE.

Can someone help me?

From the documentation is seems that the two objects named in the error are positioned such that they intersect each other too much for the solver to be able to fix it and move forward.

If this is the first increment I suppose you need to move them apart, if not I'd guess you need to lower your time step so that it can't do this.

Thank you for the reply. I saw that error but I can't understand why they intersect too much. What do you mean with move them apart? I also tried to suppress the moveBone step but eventhough I applied only the load I have the same problem.

I also tried to change the element type of the mesh, because I saw that I forgot to choose plain strain in the family..but this didn't solve the problem. Actually I was looking at an other model similar to mine, but this work. Can you someone see the difference between mine?
Thank you, I really need some help :)!!!
