I recently completed a site visit for a project we are handling in Baltimore, MD (one story, CMU bearing walls). During this visit, we took various measurements of an existing open-web joist, and found a joist tag (see attached photo). The joist has LL2x2x3/16" top chord, LL2x2x3/16" bottom chord, L3/4x3/4x3/16" & L1.5x1.5x3/16" diagonal bracing (alternates), and L3/4x3/4x3/16" verticals, with an apprxomate CL-CL bearing span of 43'-6", a depth of 24", and a panel point spacing of 4'-0". Based on our measurements, we believe this joist is a 24J7 (joist weight is approximatley 11.0 lb/ft). I was wondering if anyone has a Todd Steel joist catalog from 1970's (based on tag, joist appears to have been fabricated in 1976). I'm consulting with SJI, but thought someone here could provide a quicker response. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
