Hi,
:) It has been quite a long time since i used UI Styler (NX have both BLOCK UI styler as well as Pre NX6 UI styler ..go to Start and in the last you may find these two applications (based on the license you have)).
Open the related dlg file (i am attaching an image of one example but you may need to search for the relevant .dlg file in your case ..just search for *.dlg in the NX installation folder.Hopefully you will get what you want.) .I opened it using PRE NX6 UI STYLER.
You will notice that you can access and change the .bmp (or any other picture ) or basically the icon picture from the resource editor.(as shown in the picture).
*Note: In case you didn't find the relevant .dlg...there may be a possiblity that you may have to search for the .dlx files also (since i am not sure about how it was developed) .The .dlx file can be opened through BLOCK UI styler .
But i will suggest please do it with the consent of your IT admin colleague.(or at least take a back-up of the original .dlg file.)
Best Regards

The custom layout with what you call "permanent" pictures was replaced with popup tooltips for several reasons:
[ul]
[li]Tooltips are a standard way of providing information to explain what an item in the dialog means.[/li]
[li]You do not need to change an option to see the picture - just hover the mouse.[/li]
[li]This takes up less space on the screen.[/li]
[li]The pictures only show when you need them. If you stop the mouse over an option to think about it, then you get the picture. But an experienced user who clicks the dialog options without delay is not bothered by help he does not need.[/li]
[/ul]
