Hi,

I have been working with Pro/Mechanica software, now I have got an oppertunity to work on Ansys FEA software too.

Now I want to run a FEA on a input shaft which comes in the carrier of vehicle axle. This shaft is having 5-6 steps. It is having two bearings and two gears too. So I need to apply torque load on two surfaces of the shaft(where the gears on the shaft). As such there is no direct command is available in Ansys, please advice be in this regard.

I request FEA Docotors, please send me the details for applying torque load in Ansys.

Thanks,
Veeranna B Sheelvanth

you can apply through force/moment(nothing but torque depending upon axis) you have to choose along whch axis the moment will be applied by which we can consider as torque.
