I have an S shape beam sitting simply on existing beams at each end.
The beam is a monorail beam which can go under torsion.
How can I provide support against torsion at each end of the beam?
Looking for a detail and guidance.

Thank you

Except that the whole damn thread has become too wide by virtue of adding the images in this fashion (whatever fashion). This thread was the proper width, on my screen, until KootK added those images. Now I have to scroll left and right to read the thread. This scrolling left and right is not particularly convenient when trying to read the thread.

dhengr, I found that problem in another thread but this one seems to be okay. I think it varies according to the browser you are using.

KootK (Structural,
I found that the image problem was just with my work computer due to extra internet security and filter.
I am able to see those images on my personal PC. I greatly appreciate your effort to explain the problem to me and I apologize for some people comments on the images. We deal with a lot naggers.

Again thank you for helping me with my question.

Sincerely,

You're most welcome SKJ. And thank you for the update on the technical issues with the sketches.

So... What's your final detail going to look like?

I like to debate structural engineering theory -- a lot. If I challenge you on something, know that I'm doing so because I respect your opinion enough to either change it or adopt it.
