Hi everyone,

I am modelling a RC frame as one part. It is consisted of two columns, beam and a base beam. Base beam's bottom surface has fixed boundary conditions.
How can I measure the total force acting on the frame? I tried to apply kinematic coupling (coupled RP and bottom surface of the base beam) but it didn't work.

There are two ways. Either sum reaction forces (RF variable) at all nodes where BC is applied or define reference point, couple it to the base of the frame and apply boundary conditions to this point. Then you will be able to extract total RF from this point.
