Transcrystalline Fatigue Failure 1

We have a component that has failed and the report states that there has been a transcrystalline fatigue fracture of the component.
Any enlightenment on what mode of failure this is exactly would be greatly appreciated.

This is the standard mode for metallic components subjected to cyclic loading.
