Transfer Faces color to dumb solid body

Hello everyone
Usually we have to give data to Vendors. We give it in the form of neutral cat part I.e. dumb model without any history. We do this by copy solid bodies and paste them as result into new cat part. But the problem is that whole color information is lost. We give different colors to different faces for identification.

Is it possible somehow to transfer color info to dumb solid from parent part body?
Manually or may be with macro.

Tools->Options->Part Infrastructure->Part Document->Inherit colors from the reference feature
