Good day
Hi,
Would like to hear some advice from oil containment experts, Is there any specific rule of thumb, regulations or standard clearances from Transformer radiator to the inner wall of
Oil containment, I would like to share the outline drawing. Just to ensure that this installation is not violating any code.
My Transformer spec is a 150 MVA Transformer with a capacity approx 22,500 gal of oil.

Thank you.

We size the transformer bund to contain a 26.5° oil spray from the top of the tank, radiator, bushing turrets, and the bottom outlet from the conservator. CIGRE brochure 537 says a spray angle of 30° from vertical is commonly used.

Looking at your drawing, oil from the radiator could spray outside the bund. You might also want to consider maintenance access e.g. to fix leaks on the radiator or to touch up paint/galv on the stand for the radiator.
