Hi all
We have noted a surface partial discharge on dry resin 20kv/6.6kv 1.5MVA transformer,please see pictures
The only available test for me are insulation resistance test ,high pot and ratio test by cbc100.
IR 200Mohm PI 2.5
My question are:
How serious their conditions are?can it be kept in service?
How can I follow the progress of their patient discharge (tan delta test isn’t available)?
I’ve been told that there is an epoxy material that can be applied for the defect area !is it effective in my situation?
