Hi Experts,

I am trying to find the temperature variations during different braking instances of disk brake. My boundary condition for the transient structural is pressure and rotational velocity. However I am not able to figure out what boundary condition I should give incase of thermal analysis. Please suggest how to carry out this analysis in Ansys. Also it would be great if someone can provide explanation in regards to ansys. Many thanks in advance.

Hi Mackieksl/Dave,

I am using Ansys v14.5, not sure where to find LS-DYNA. I did check in the installation package/directory of the Ansys 14.5. Any idea we could get this on 14.5? Pardon me for my lack of knowledge on this. I am predominantly a CAD/CAM guy but due to some circumstances I gotta do this. Thanks for all the help :)
