What would be the best file format of translating files from pro-e to SE15? The IGES files are a mess and the pro-e direct translator has missing features on occasion and is very slow. Will step work? Can Pro-e produce SAT or x_t? What settings should I suggest they use for better IGES files?

Thanks

What version of Pro/E? In Wildfire you can enable parasolid exports.

I'm not sure what version they are using. It's a large aerospace company and I'm down the food chain a bit. The latest IGES file I got came in with a ton of surfaces untrimmed. I brought this same file into Surfcam with no problems.

I just switched to SE from Cadkey because of these same kind of issues. I hope I haven't wasted allot of money and time.
