the inductive reactance X of any transmission line can be witten as below.
X = 0.004657*f*log(Ds/GMR) ohm/mile/conductor
Where Ds - equvallent spacing in feet
GMR - Geometric mean radius in feet
f - frequency in Hz
Now the unit mile is to be changed as km (ie reactance in ohm per km per conductor). whatis the procedure. please help me. Can I directly multiply the conversion factor (1/1.609344).
since 1 mile = 1.609344 km
