Transparency Will Not Work

Hello all,
I am now having an issue with showing parts as transparent in assemblies. It was working fine until a few days ago. Now when I make a part transparent it does show up as transparent in the feature manager and I can select the parts behind it but in the assembly it is not changing (I can not see thru it). Is there a setting or something that could have changed?

I am running SW2010 SP 4.0

Possible you have an appearance overriding the part appearance within the assembly.

It does sound like the same thing but I have two computers running the same OS and versions of SW with only one of them having the problem. I may do a copy settings wizard from the one that works properly and see if by loading those settings on the other PC what happens.
